1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains what information ClubsZone (the "Site", "we", "us") collects when you use clubs.zone, how it is used, and the choices you have. By creating an account or otherwise using the Site, you agree to the practices described here. This policy should be read alongside our Terms of Service.
ClubsZone is a community platform for EA FC Pro Clubs. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Electronic Arts, EA Sports, or Discord Inc. We only collect what we need to make the Site's features work.
2. Information We Collect
To provide our features, the Site stores a limited amount of data, including:
- •Account & login — your Discord user ID, username and avatar, obtained via Discord OAuth when you sign in.
- •Linked game data — the EA player and club identifiers you choose to link, along with the public Pro Clubs statistics fetched for them.
- •Profile & community content — registered player profiles, club registrations, recruitment posts, transfer and valuation history, and messages or notes you submit through the Site.
- •Franchise League & Ballon d'Or records — virtual wallets, contracts, loans, offers, ledger entries, votes, and activity history tied to your account within a community.
- •Billing information — if you purchase a Player, Manager or Host subscription, our payment processor Creem collects and processes your payment details on our behalf; we never see or store your card number.
- •Operational data — session cookies, basic request logs, and command usage used to operate, debug, and protect the Site.
We do not request access to your Discord private messages, and we do not collect message content beyond what you submit directly to the Site or its Discord bot.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- •Operate and provide the Site's features, such as club registration, tournaments, drafts, the free-agent market, and the Franchise League economy.
- •Authenticate you and keep you signed in via your session cookie.
- •Process and manage your Player, Manager or Host subscription, including granting the entitlements it unlocks.
- •Deliver notifications to the Discord channels a server admin has configured.
- •Maintain the integrity of competitions, valuations, and the virtual economy.
- •Diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve the reliability of the Site.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
5. Third-Party Services
The Site relies on third-party services to function: Discord (for authentication and notifications), the EA Sports Pro Clubs API (to fetch public player and club statistics), Creem (to process subscription payments), and our hosting and database providers used to store the data described above.
Your use of Discord is governed by Discord's own Privacy Policy, and payments are subject to Creem's own privacy and payment terms. Public statistics retrieved from EA are subject to EA's terms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties.
6. Data Storage & Retention
Your data is stored on secure, access-controlled infrastructure operated by our hosting and database providers. We retain data for as long as it is needed to provide the Site's features — for example, while your profile remains active or while a competition is ongoing.
Billing records are retained as required for accounting and legal purposes even after a subscription is cancelled. You may request deletion of other data at any time (see below).
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Choices & Rights
You have control over your data. You may:
- •Unlink your EA player or club, or edit your profile, at any time from your account settings.
- •Cancel a Player, Manager or Host subscription at any time — you keep access until the end of the paid period.
- •Request a copy of the data we hold about you, or request its deletion, by contacting us.
Some records, such as historical competition results, may be retained in anonymised or aggregated form to preserve the integrity of past events.
9. Children's Privacy
The Site is not intended for users under the age of 13, or the minimum age required to use Discord in your country, whichever is higher. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone below that age. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us so we can remove it.
10. Discord Bot
ClubsZone also offers a companion Discord bot. Its data handling is covered in a dedicated policy — see our Bot Privacy Policy for full detail on what the bot collects and how it's used inside your Discord server.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes may also be announced in our community Discord. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
