Club and player statistics come from EA's public Pro Clubs data for clubs that have been registered on ClubsZone and players who have linked their EA name to a profile. Rankings, player values, trophies and season records are calculated by ClubsZone from those results.

Competitions are organised by the communities that host them: each community's staff create the competitions, add the clubs and record or confirm the results. Community names, club names, recruitment posts and profile details are written by users; they are screened automatically, can be reported, and are reviewed by administrators.

Each EA FC title is a ClubsZone season. When a new title launches, the previous season's standings, player values, squads and trophies are archived permanently rather than deleted, so FC 26 records stay available next to the live FC 27 season through the season switcher on the rankings, market, club and profile pages.
